A Course in Miracles says that God does not give us victory in battle; rather, He lifts us above the battlefield...  What the world needs now is a miracle, and it is miracles to which we are all entitled. For miracles occur naturally as expressions of love; they are in fact the natural order of the world when the mind is in its natural state. Our task, quite simply, is to love in a way that we have never loved before, i.e., God bless Lebanon. God bless Israel. God bless every child of God. And God, please help us to live in peace. We need a miracle. And we need it now. Amen.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.

Where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

Divine master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

to be understood as to understand;

to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive;

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.  

CHRISTIAN PRAYER FOR PEACE

Blessed are the PEACEMAKERS for they shall be known as the Children

of God. But I say to you that hear, love your enemies, do good to those

who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.

To those who strike you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from those

who take away your cloak, do not withhold your coat as well. Give to

everyone who begs from you, and of those who take away your goods,

do not ask them again. And as you wish that others would do to you,

do so to them.

"God can be reached through many paths; each of these sectarian religions points out a path which ultimately leads to Divinity. Yes, all religions are paths, but the paths are not God. I have seen all sects and all paths. I do not care for them any more. People belonging to these sects quarrel so much! 

After trying all religions, I have realized that God is the Whole and I AM His part; that He is the Lord and I AM his servant; again I realize, He is I; I AM He...God is not only personal and with form but He can take the form of Krisna, Christ or any other Incarnation. It is true that He manifests Himself in infinite forms to fulfill the desires of His devotees. It is also true that He is formless, Indivisible Existence-Intelligence-Bliss Absolute."    - Shri Ramakrishna
